NEET or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an Indian Medical entrance examination. It is conducted for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD ⁄ MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.
OVERVIEW
National Eligibility and Entrance Test or NEET is the one examination which would be considered for filling about 54,000 medical seats across the country. CBSE is the responsible authority to determine and release the exam pattern of NEET.
The exam covers the topics from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Candidates appearing for NEET shall prepare thoroughly in order to secure a good score.

For each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 4 marks; if an answer is wrong, then 1 mark will be deducted.
The duration of the paper is 3 hours. Each correct answer attracts 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. For every unanswered question, marks are neither be awarded nor be deducted.
